About the event

The client was launching a new television network and needed awareness within the cable industry and with members of Congress. Pugnacious created an event in Washington, DC that focused on sustainability in the cable industry, and invited the top cable operators to talk about their efforts, as well as members of Congress. Pugnacious was able to highlight the benefits of the EarthX TV’s free content and why cable operators should carry their channel. Check out case study here!

Goal:

Get the client in front of decision makers for both cable providers and members of Congress, and do this in a memorable, unique way.

Strategy:

Pugnacious created an “art gallery” experience that highlighted creative billboards from client’s sustainability programming. This created an opportunity for the CEO walk around with VIPs and personally explain the importance of each program. Pugnacious brought media, members of Congress and decision makers in the cable industry. Also there was a branded interview/media room where VIP attendees could leave a statement on why sustainability is so important in their industry. The whole event was filmed and photographed and delivered to the client.

Result:

A room full of cable operator VIPs and members of Congress all focused on the client. Earned national media in the cable and political space, a very impactful sizzle video that client could use for future pitches, and meaningful conversations with major cable operators. After this event Charter cable ended up launching EarthX on their network.

It was an impressive event, but still felt very personal.
